Potential students whose interests converge with the Chair’s research program could complete graduate studies at both master’s and PhD levels in the areas of health administration or public health. More precisely, University of Montreal Department of Health Administration offers three programs.
Programs:
Candidates with a background in a related discipline (sociology, political sciences, biomedical engineering, design, business, etc.) who wish to register to other University of Montreal graduate programs may contact the Chair holder in order to explore the possibility of a co-supervision. Prior authorization by the research supervisor is required.
Courses offered by the Chair holder:
- PLU 6048 (3 credits), Connaissances et changements de pratique dans les organisations de santé. Course offered in collaboration with Jean-Louis Denis, CHSRF Chair on Governance and Transformation of Health Care Organizations (www.medsp.umontreal.ca/getos). This course is usually offered in the fall to PhD students (in French).
- Ulysses Course nº6 (3 credits), Ethical and social issues in health technology assessment and dissemination and impact, International Master’s Program in HTA&M. This course is only offered to students who register to the Ulysses Master’s Program (in English).
- ASA 6704 (3 credits), Introduction à la recherche qualitative. This course is usually offered in the winter to master’s and PhD students (in French).
